Round is a shape
Many a times...in fact regularly my folks tell me to do something about my weight...and my father particularly asks me to get in shape....so this is my humble retort...ROUND IS A SHAPE.
Jokes apart...I have never tried shaped cards...well thats a lie...actually I have miserably failed everytime I tried one....but this time I nailed it.If you think otherwise please let me know....but for me and for now I have manged to whip out a fairly decent shaped card.
And since I make it my business to enter every challenge possible...card patterns and sentimental Sundays....pushed me into trying this one...and smart cookie that I am I managed to fit in the colours I have used on this one to suit the current challenge at polly craft monday too.
Have a look.
The mulberry roses are from ujjwal's shop.the pp is from echo Park and the lace is from my stash.the gems on either side of the sentiment are from pie lane and so are the leaves. The chipboard tree is also from Ujjwal's shop. The sentiment stamp is from Jovita's shop. The CS is Fabriano Elle Erre. The glitter gems painstakingly stuck on the scallops are from Pie lane too.Consider this as a token of gratitude; Srinanda for providing us with such high quality stuff in India.
Since I am quite challenged as far as stitching goes(Back in school My skirt rested on my waist with sheer will power when I refused to fix the tear and used innumerable safety pins instead) I patted myself for the stitching on the card.I loved it simply loved it.
Eagerly awaiting your responses.
Hugs!

ReplyDeleteWOW Snehal what a striking an dbf card you have made-- it is an understatement to call it bf-- I love it.Such a beauty all the elements and I am with you as far as stitching is concerned.. my poor hubby has to stitch his own buttons as I take ages to even thread a needle! But so wonderfully you have done the stitching on this one. Altogether wonderful creation. I am saving it for inspiration though I dont think I will be able to do the stitching and the rhinestone work!
