Card for a newly alotted house

Some things are characteristic of Defence life and shifting at least three times in  a tenure is part of it.A family in our unit has shifted from a temporary quarter to a slightly bigger house.In the process of waiting endlessly for this house their luggage had to bear a lot due to poor storage .To help the lady a bit I sent her lunch along with this card to cheer her http://www.blogger.com/blogger.g?blogID=6458948697381942182#editor/target=post;postID=3380922943567988031up.She was delighted to rec this and so the card is a winner as far as the recipient is concerned.
However I shall do the needful....enter the card in challenges it took its inspiration from.

P.S.-The lunch consisted  of Chicken Biriyani,Boondi raita,Macaroni salad,fresh lime soda,aubergine bake and chilled kesari.
I turn vegetarian starting today until Ganpati Visarjan as an annual ritual.
I formally start my music lessons( vocal) under the guidance of an able and learned Guru.Wish me luck.

Floral Thanks

Had a wonderfully busy day...hosted a continental lunch for ladies....and somehow managed to create this card too.
The sketch from Freshly Made sketches inspired the layout of this card.The colors are PDCC colors and the paper piecing is inspired by the current challenge at CASual Fridays.
Hope you like the card.I am trying to make a pack of five cards for someone and this is the second one in that series.I want to make it a pack of card for all occassions.

It s a magical card...well that's what I tried to depict.Now you tell me did I succeed or no.

At The crafters cafe we are supposed to create something with red,pink and purple..because love is in the air at this time of the year....

Thinking of you now and always

Hi peeps!
How are ya all?I am freezing.I can see snow capped mountains.....Only when my eyes aren't watering due to the strong and chilly winds.....and honestly I don't care for the snowfall .the only thing I am waiting for is the Sun.My clothes aren't drying.It took me quite sometime to even click these pictures because the card too blew away a couple of times .
And as the title suggests that I am thinking of Sun now and always...because I just can't see it.
This card is suitable for the Unity opportunity challenge and also derives its inspiration for the layout from Freshly made sketches.It uses the colours of the Color Throwdown which are Real Red,Basic Black and Basic Grey.If it can be called CAS then it also is suitable for the current challenge at ICR. and Create me Pink

Anniversary card in a jiffy

I dunno about you but I have many friends whose anniversary is in Dec.This one is for one of them.she reads my blog too so cannot disclose her name and hence haven't posted the insides too.this is one of my favorite images from Kich and Bleu and this die cut is my fav too.
I really need to buy watercolor pencils soon as i am running out of them and udhampur being the village it is I won't get it here.
I am in a plethora of activities again and so a bit hurried .I have missed the chance to link it up to Freshly made sketches though the layout was inspired by the same.
