ILU

Yeah I love you all...all my blog pals who constantly encourage me to try out different things. So this is dedicated to you but I derived my inspiration from the current challenge at beyond grey...where we are challenged to create something love based but with non traditional colors and no hearts too. This one is also inspired b the current challenge at the Crafty JC.
This is a word card...as if you can't make out ....lol....but my first and I thoroughly enjoyed making it.
Have used Pie lane flowers and stones on The letter L.

Hope you like it too.
thanks for passing by.

New beginnings

Hi Peeps!
Long time. Its been constantly a tough fight with the sub zero temperatures. My kids are home and the domestic help isn't ....so you can imagine my plight.Plus I am hooked to THE IMMORTALS OF MELHUA.Those of you who haven't read this must try it.It is unputdownable. Also I am on a dessert making spree on popular demand by kids.
I missed crafting but there is no time for it.But today I managed to squeeze in some for my DT post.
This time the theme at The Crafter's Cafe is New beginnings. My card is for a friend who was recently blessed with her first baby. This card is also suitable for the current challenge at Crafty JC and derives the inspiration for layout from OWH.This one is originally inspired by the current challenge at ICR. and Sentimental Sundays.
Thanks for passing by.

A bag and a tag

WARNING-Picture heavy post

My computer is slow...actually my net connection is...there have been power cuts and the domestic help is conspicuous with his absence and my husband is working yeah on a SUNDAY too .And so to cheer my self up I tried to find time to craft.
So here is my recycled bag with a tag.
My daughters were invited for a birthday party and I made a bag to hold the presents for the birthday girl.
This was the humble beginning of the recycled bag.
And this is what it looked like after the treatment.

The TAGI know the glue is showing because I was in a hurry to click the pictures.

Detailed shots of the bag

The tag was inspired by the current challenge at The CUPCAKE CRAFT CHALLENGE.The bag is my entry for the current challenge at the CRAFTY JC.
The dps are studio calico which I bought from Ujjwal's store. The images are digis .The geometric patterns stamped on the flap are from Maya Road...also from Ujjwal's store. The tag is pretty interesting because I was supposed to colour on Kraft which intrigued me and I loved it.
Hope you like it too
thanks for passing by.
