A box full of bookmarks

Loads of supplies to list but would like to mention the fabric tape which was a RAK from Hussena
Hi Friends,
I am sharing a box I made for  bookmarks for a client. She ordered customised bookmarks and because they were six of them I decided to make a box as a container to carry all those bookmarks. You can have a look here and here for the two of them that I shared earlier.
Please have a look.Inspired by the current challenge at Sentimental Sundays-Challenge #157: Summer Color Inspiration
PPS-June Challenge: In less than 30 minutes
Catchy Challenges-Rainbow colors without a "Rainbow"
Hope this qualifies for all three.
What do you think?I loved the way the box turned and so did my client. It is a recycled/up-cycled Ferrero Rocher box.Could you tell that with its new avatar? And yes made it in less than 30 minutes.Used pattern paper ,die cut elements ,modge podge and washi tapes.

The view from the top.
Forgot to click the insides because I was in a hurry to pack and ship it.but the insides read BOOKS ARE OUR BEST FRIENDS.

Framed page

Hi friends!
Its a strange thing with me .I am either sulking and whining that I don't get work ( craftwise) or neck deep in work.It comes in bits and spurts .Does that happen to you too?
Btw I have a news to share.I have been hired by DLF school to teach little kids and guess what got an order from the Management lady over there to make this frame. But the catch was I had 24 hours to print the pictures and make this page and get it framed. And I don't know how but amidst two DT posts have managed to do this one too.Came back just now after giving it for framing. Will upload the picture with the frame tommorow.

Dotty about you

Yeah and a yipee.I am so happy that I was able to make a card for the current challenge at Sentimental Sundays-Use negative space.
I followed the tutorial on Splitcoast stampers and made this card. For this one I heat embossed a piece of cardstock by stamping it with a dotty stamp from Unity. Then I used a heart shaped die from Itsy Bitsy to cut two hearts out of it.I used emboss resist technique with two different colored inks on the bg and the  heart cut outs. Then stuck the hearts back.
What do you think of this? Please let me know .

I want to be an astronaut,a pilot and a skydiver

Unusual and too long a title for a post right? But it is about Kiara my five year old highly spirited daughter and she wants to be all that in that order. She has this story which she loves to tell that she is going to be an astronaut and then jump into a plane and then finally skydive.I guess its the influence of father talking.Anyway that apart i chose to make a LO inspired by this spirit of kiara.
WARNING- Picture heavy post

The doodled parachutes

The digi astronaut from Bugaboo.Notice the glossy accents on the mask of the astronaut.

Guest Designer Post for BGC

  Hi There!
Thanks for your support.Still writing from the hospital room where Trisha is admitted. We had a sleepless night last night...because she was in a lot of pain despite the painkillers. Her arm still hurts and is heavy with the plaster. But that's not what she is upset about...she has been told not to attend school for next four weeks...and she loves school.I am thinking of ways to keep her busy...though that's not very tough. She loves reading and art work too.Art work would be problematic but reading we should be able to do loads of.
Coming back to my card...Remember I made it to top three at BGC's Ombre challenge and thus got the GDT post at their current challenge CASE STUDY.I made this taking cue from Romina's card as an inspiration.
Since I used yellow paint and ink to colour the petals as well as the embossed BG...I am entering this one at the Sentimental Sundays current challenge too.
Also since the flower is made with a round punch this also qualifies for the current challenge hosted by talented Hussena at Do more with less.
BTW the embossed BG is a Brustro paper that Hussena sent me .I have dry as well as heat embossed the paper after running it through my BIG SHOT.the flower is also made with scraps of Brustro. It was magical to colour the petals.
Hope you like the card...Please head over at BGC for a fabulous challenge and a fabulous prize sponsored by none other than LULUPU.
