Name plate

Hi Friends!

Hope you all are doing well.I am sharing a customised name plate .The size of the frame is 12x8.5.Quite big.The photo of the couple is printed on a wooden tile and then stuck here.rest is pretty self expalnatory.Loads of wooden embellishments..from craftslane used here. They are either painted or embossed and then stuck.
To give a protective layering I varnished it in the end.

Recycled paper wrap and a tag

Hi Friends!
How are you all doing?I have been busy creating.I will share all that eventually .waiting for my client to receive the package first.
So for the time being sharing a gift for Kiara's friend which I wrapped in a newspaper and then in butter paper.Stamped the butter paper with sentiments as well as butterfly stamps.Stamped more butterflies and flowers on pattern paper and fussy cut them .stuck those to the wrapper.Hope I am making sense. Also misted the wrapper with different inky mists.
The next part is the tag I made for the birthday girl.have used faber castell water colour pencils to colour it.I used some UTEE also on the icing part of the cake.and paper pieced the cake container and her dress and some parts of her hat

Nautical card

Dear Friends,

Hello!I was so inspired by the current challenges at Beyond grey and Lulupu ,that I watched atleast a dozen videos and many projects on pinterest to finally make one. This one is inspired by a lawn fawn video...but I did not have the same craft supplies so I made my own.
I used distressed inks in all shades of blue from my supplies to create the wave background.then I spritzed it with water and some mistspray.I dried it with my heat gun and punched out circles...which were cut into half to create the waves.
The sailing boats are wood veneers which were coloured with Faber castell markers. The sentiment is computer generated and then die cut.The clouds behind are made with the help of scalloped circle...which was used to create the cloudy bg.
Hope you like my attempt at nautical masculine card.I suck big time at masculine cards.
have linked them to the following challenges

"No MILK" signboard

Hi friends!
I am a Puneite now and the area where I reside ...is a three building complex...pretty self sufficient. Most of the ladies are working here and have their own communication systems for the daily services.I wanted to make one such communication system for the Milk vendor.so here is what I created from a piece of ply left after our furniture was done.
This is displayed outside my door on the days I do not require milk.what do you think about it?Also I hope to be regular in my crafting as well as blogging henceforth...now that I have a permanent place.
Eagerly awaiting your comments
Made especially for and inspired by the current challenges here
Lulupu-Inspired by Lulupu Logo.( hope the colours are visible)
Beyond Grey Challenges- Misting and stamping on fabric.I have used casement here and stamped and coloured it too)
Lessology-Animal Kingdom. The animal most appropriate on this sign board is a COW and the recycled item is a scrap piece of ply)

Altered chopping board name plate

Hi Friends!

Detail shots

Check out the altered spoon.painted it gold and brown to give antique look.add crackle accents to the sticker and a few beads.

The chopping board before it was subjected to my idiosyncrasies
Hope you all are fine.I have quit my job and I am settling down in Pune (finally) with my kids. There is a lot of crafting going on in my craft room right now and that is keeping me sane.I am sharing an altered/ upcycled craft with you today.Made a name plate for a dear friend who shares my birthday.it is going all the way to Goa and I hope she likes it.She has shifted into a new house and has been looking for nameplates but couldn't pick any coz none caught her fancy.thats why I am a bit nervous about this one.The four birds symbolize the family. The papa ,mama and the little girls in their house.I chose chopping board and spoon and some cutlery embellies because she is an avid cook and I presume her house is full of  delicious aromas at all points of time
I was extremely inspired by the current challenge at Beyond Grey challenges and happy that I finally managed to make something suitable.I hope it is shabby/ vintage enough for the challenge.I made something for the flowerfull challenge too but my Internet connection was playing funny and so couldn't post it on time.
Anyway this is already a long post and I also have a picture heavy post so would like to stop my rambling here.
Thanks for passing by.
Hugs!
P.S.- I am having problems posting comments on your blogs. Can anyone tell me why? Its funny .I type my comment and enter / publish and it is completely gone .No idea what is happening.
