A sewed card with butterflies.

Hi Friends!
Happy Rakshabandhan!I am here to share a card with you which I made for the following challenges
Lessology-Fluttering butterflies
PPS-Sew lovely
I have used a scrap piece of casement left after making bags.I removed the threads from the warp and the weft to give it this frayed look, and then embroidered around the border and on the clouds and also the stamped leaves.have used butterflies which were distressed and misted.
Here is a closer look.
Thanks for passing by.

Inkadinkado stamp from Jovita's store.
CS from Jovita's store.
The red eyelet from Itsy Bitsy.
Ribbon a RAK from dear friend Hussena.

Ever since PPS came up with their interesting Washi tape challenge I have been toying with a couple of ideas and finally used it here.It is also suitable for the current challenge at Sentimental Sundays. The unscalloped heart is full of Washi  and so are the tiny ones.

VASE IT Pie lane way.

Added sand to the container and stuck in the button blooms.

I have a tough time playing along with recycle it challenges ...firstly because I am obsessed with cleaning and getting rid of packages, broken stuff etc and secondly I hit an Artist's block( analogy to writer's block) when it comes to recycling. So here is my humble take on the current challenge at PPS.
have used an old container...prettied it up with Pie lane buttons...loads of them and voila ....here is a vase with button flowers and a button wreath  wound around the neck to pretty up its humble appearence .Only probem is it is Upcycled and not recycled. Its a container lying for ages in my house and I thought this would be a nice way of using it.DH pointed out that recycled means something that has been used and then prettied up.So I am not sure if this is appropriate for PPS.
Detail shots.

The neck prettied up with stringed buttons

look at those buttons, butterflies and sheer yumminess.

Another angle

THIS IS MY CENTREPIECE AT THE Dining table tomorrow when I serve Sizzlers to my guests.
