Recipes in an apron

Hi friends!

I know I have been bugging you all with my frequent blogposts but i assure you that tonight I have two cards to share and then its going to be a long hiatus.I am visiting my father and inlaws in Pune for two months. Not that I am thrilled about it purely because I love artwork and with two kids and their demands it keeps me sane.I am going to miss my work area nad my punches and my inks and the Big Shot machine .Darn I am going to miss everything, but I can't take it along with me .

Alright then let me show you my first card .It is for a friend who had asked me for a recipe and most probably she will read this post so I can't disclose her name.I am sending her  some of this stuff and alongwith it the recipe.

This is a closer pic of the apron card with the recipes.I typed the recipes, cut them and then laminated them.

Then  made this apron card with an apron template and decorated the front with a chef from TLC.Paper pieced the chef and coloured him with water colour pencils.

Thanks for passing by. Hope you liked it.

Hugs.

Don't forget to check my second post for the day.

Story book card ,Recipe card

Hi There! How 's your weekend going? We attended a birthday party this morning. It was Kiara's friend's birthday who turned three today. Here is the card for her.She loves stories so what could be better than a storybook card for her?I won't put you through the agony of my amateur attempt at story writing for a three year old (Which is 12 pages btw).

This is how it looked on the gift.

Alright if you insist lol....I will just show you the first page of the story book. Each page had two or one digi and a story for the kid.

I also made a recipe card for a friend who asked for two recipes;roast chicken and potato and pea soup. You can see the recipe of roast chicken here on my recipe blog. Its really simple and yummilicious if I may say so myself. This is how the recipe card looked .

Hope you liked this post.

Have a great weekend .See you next week.

Hi!Good morning . Have something early in the morning today. Two of my girlfriends asked me for the recipes of Pavlova and pumpkin pie and since I hate the routine I decided to spice up this entire recipe project.I downloaded an apron template and then improvised with the pie, chef and the waitress image.

I chose butterflies as the embellishments for the waitress card since it is obviously feminine and the strawberries for the chef card because pavlova is garnished with strawberries.

Loved the effect .Also the recipes are typed , cut and laminated so that they are practically spill proof . I hope the recipients like them.Ohh yeah I am baking individual pavlovas and pies for each one of them and then shall pack them in corrugated boxes along with these recipe cards.

Will share the images of the box and the reactions of my friends in the next post.

Can't wait for Friday when the gift box with the recipes is due to be delivered at another coffee morning.

Have a great day and let me know what you think about these.

Bloody excited!!!!!!
