Rakshabandhan Cards

Hi Peeps!
I have two cards to share today.Realised all of a sudden that it was high time I sent rakhis. So made these today and will post them tomorrow.
Here is my first card.Close up of the embossed image
I have used Pie lane stencil on a makeshift light box to emboss the image. The card is 4 by 9 and enters CAS-ual Fridays challenge. The envelope is handmade.
The embellishments are stickers from Echo Park.

                                                                         Oh BROTHER!

Rakshabandhan is around the corner and I have three rakhis to send .Two from my daughters to their cousins and one for my brother.I decided to make three cards to send along with the rakhis.

This super hero image was chosen for Ishaan my nephew because he really is a superhero. He is into sports and has great oratory skills.Isn't that a making of a super hero? And besides that he is an extremely polite and sensitive kid. Therefore to balance the superhero toughness I have added flower like embellishments to the card.

As  you can see each card has a "brother" sentiment which was computer generated after typing.

The insides of each card also has a brother sentiment  too to make it special.

Ain't this guy cool? This one is for Anish my nephew from my daughters because all of us truly feel that he is a cool kid.He is into a lot of movie making ,great music , reading and is  a computer genius so I thought this image suited him the best.To add to his super coolness have reinforced the fact by adding boy with earphones embellishment.

The last one where the two kids are holding hands has been chosen for my brother who is 11 years younger than me and is in the army. He has a great sense of humour but not better than mine(ha ha !) and since I keep teasing him and pulling his leg there was no better sentiment than  the one I chose for his card. The stars on the sentiment are chosen to reinforce the fact that he is a "Star brother".

Hope you liked the cards .I am off to post them....will let you know what the brothers thought about their cards later.

Happy Rakshabandhan to all of you .

Thanks for passing by.
