The card I am sharing today was a bit difficult to conceive and execute. I am quite happy with how it has turned out .please have a look and read on .But before that click on the image above for a better look.
This card enters the following challenges.
OWH Stars and Stamps-Challenge #38
There's Magic In The Air Paper Cupcakes-Frame It Out
Lollipop Crafts-123 recipe challenge and surprise
Digital Tuesday Challenge-Sew special
The insides .
The two digi images used in this card are from Bird blog and Paper cupcakes. The designer backing paper is from Digital Two For Tuesday. The black corrugated paper and the antique gems are from my stash.
The sentiment DREAM is from Sentiments for you.The inside sentiment was created in Word along with the paper cup digi from Paper Cupcakes.
I have coloured the images with watercolour pencils and then applied crackle accents and glossy accents.Since one of the challenges wanted the image framed I decided to use the mirror and frame the reflection.
The vase image was resized twice into diff sizes in Word and one was copied inside the mirror digi image .The digi image of vase inside the mirror was recolured in grey in Word. The other vase image was coloured and then cutout to create the impression of real and virtual image .
I got this brilliant idea from Creative mind of Sylvie.
I improvised it with digi images.I have used both real and faux stitching on the designer paper strips.
Thanks for passing by and please let me know what you think of this card . It is a very special card for me and would love to know what you think of this card.
Hugs
