I have a quick card to share with you all today.The card has been created for a boy.The image is from Beccy's place and the sketch is from waltzing mouse.this card is also inspired by the challenge at Ooh La la.The ribbon and string is from my stash and the flower is from Pie Lane.

Giving thanks

Hi! It has been raining on and off here and there has been power supply problems....but I have managed to make something with the D2d image this week too.Here is my card.

Welcome Home

Have been busy today...really busy.DH coming back tomorrow after a long time ;so made a card for him....have to pick up flowers for him from the florist and have baked a pineapple cake.
forgot to click the pineapple cake .Will share the pic tom.As of now have this card to share with you all.

The image is from TLC and I have colored it with Faber Castell markers and pencils.The dp is from Echo park and from my stash. the ribbon is from my stash and the butterfly is from PIE LANE.I have inked the edges of dp and have stamped on the card stock with embossing ink and on the dp too.Hope you can make out that.The sentiments are computer generated and the bunting inside the card is from BIRD and have used Pie lane glitter on it.This card takes its inspiration from Skipping Stones Sketch.

First DT call

I have been excited about this one for sometime but couldn't share it for obvious reasons. I am a part of the DT for The Crafter's cafe;and this is my first creation for them.

The image is from The Crafter's cafe.The back ground paper is stamped with unity stamp and have used ink to blend.The ribbon is a retro one that I bought from Ujjwal.I have also used the technique Ujjwal showed us with her woodgrain stamp. on the backing paper.The sentiment is from Scrapalicious times and the floral button from PIE LANE.

Birthday card for a boy

I have a quick card to share with you today.Had a great weekend Hope yours was good too.
This card was made for my daughter's friend.The image is from Beccy's place.I colored the image with Faber Castell color pencils .The dp is from Echo park and studio calico.The sketch is from Skipping stones.This card is also inspired by the Sentimental Sundays' current challenge.

Honestly speaking I am not too happy with my work this time .I haven't played along with the sketch correctly and have managed to stick the layers a bit crooked.I think it was one of those days when things just don't come right.

Falloween cat but not a halloween card

I know the title is weird but its ought to be because this is the longest it took me this time to make a card for D2d which i diligently do week after week.But this time it was different because I can't relate to Halloween and so can't make Halloween cards.Also I have nobody to send them to.I do not have any friend who celebrates Halloween.So it took me the longest time to think of what to make with this week's image and last night I had a light bulb moment when I thought i could also make a bday card with that one.So here is my one more half an hour project which almost wasn't going to happen.

Teacher's day cards,note pads and pens

I have been very busy (so what's new?)considering the domestic help condition ( Oh don't start it all over again) and husband out of station plus one kid sick.But I have been crafting in bits and pieces and this is what I have to share with you all.

The teacher image is from Beccy's place and the apple is a black and white image I found on google.the September month calendar is from Bluebird flats.the dp is from echo park and studio calico.

The sketch used on all three cards is from OWH.
The insides are same for all three cards so sparing you the torture.
The note pads took their inspiration from clean and simple sketch.the lady's image is from tidbit trinklets and the tree is an image I found on google.the dp is from studio calico and echo park.The note pads also are inspired by the Pinch and punch challenge on Cute Card Thursday.

The red pens ...integral part of a teacher's day covered with floral tape and embellished with Pie lane flowers.
I have made the envelopes but had no time to click them.
